Tour guides are also available by advance reservation during limited hours.  Programs usually focus on fossils and minerals, but can also address a wide range of earth science topics on request.

Information needed if requesting a guide:
1. Group Name
2. Contact person(s): Name, email, phone
3. Requested date and time, flexible? (at least 2 wks ahead)
4. End time if on deadline
5. Number of kids (must be less than 40 per group, this is a small space, 2500 sq.ft.)
6. Ages or Grade level
7. Number of adults (1 per 10)
8. Special requests, notes, SOLs to address

Please check the Museum homepage for map and directions, parking passes, etc. There is also a floorplan of the museum exhibits, a scavenger hunt for a general audience and/or younger children, a Standards of Learning-based scavenger hunt for grade 5 and up, and pre- and post-visit materials as they are developed.
